Hi, I’m Alexander aka dr.Draw!

You might know me from Instagram or Youtube where 100K+ followers consume content about drawing, art and psychology.

I’ve been drawing since I was born but always thought drawing was ‘just for fun’.

After my master’s in psychology and spending some time in different roles I got to work as a visual design consultant and learned that drawing has professional value as well.

By drawing you learn to deal with challenges and solve visual problems. In short; it makes you creative.

Now I use drawing in my work as a part-time teacher at the Applied University of Amsterdam. And I draw because I love it.

I’ve been struggling with finding a style all my life but stumbled upon a framework a few years ago that makes style a whole lot simpeler. Now I’d like to share that framework with you because I believe finding a style doesn’t need to be as hard as we think.

FAQ

Is this course for beginners, or do I need experience?
Whatever your experience, having a clear idea on your style gives focus. So no, you don’t need any experience.
How much time will it take?
Some modules take more time than others but on average you can complete each module in about 30 minutes. You don’t need more than 4 hours to complete the whole course and I recommend you complete the course in a week or two.
What if I’m not ‘creative enough’ to have a style?
You already have a style inside you — this challenge helps you unlock it. No natural talent needed. Just simple exercises to reveal what makes your art unique.
Will I get personal feedback?
Yes! There’s a live kick-off session and a live group-coaching at the end of the course. This is where you get to ask questions and get feedback on your work and see other peoples work. In my experience the group-coaching is the most fun part of the course (be there or be ⬛).
What materials do I need for the course?
You’ll need something like photoshop or procreate and I recommend getting a Pinterest account.
How long do I have access to the course?
You’ll have lifetime access — including all future updates. Learn at your own pace, and revisit the lessons anytime you want.
What if I want more feedback?
